Background

Integrated Community Peace and Development Organization (ICPDO)

is a National South Sudanese Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) in existence purposely to mobilize, support and organize the local communities in Eastern Equatoria State and South Sudanese communities to implement transformational community programs through effective resource mobilization, community empowerment and promotion of active participation in public policy and development processes.

ICPDO`s main focus is to ameliorate the numerous sufferings of South Sudanese people in the post war and conflict era. Specially, we implement projects in six thematic areas namely: Water Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Education recovery, Conflict resolution and Peace Building, Food Security and livelihood assistance programme, Environmental Natural Resources Management and Protection (Gender-based violence and Child protection).

Partnerships

Collaboration

To fulfill its mandate, the Organization works in collaboration with other like-minded non-governmental organizations, local and national government actors as well as development actors. The organization aims not to duplicate efforts of its predecessors but to compliment any similar projects and or service undertaken in its target areas and core program goals. ICPDO works with all social sectors and organizations to ensure the communities are reached with developmental projects that builds their resilience.
